Challenge
The Institute for Policy Research needed a way to communicate its mission and highlight faculty research through engaging video content.

Role
Art director and motion designer responsible for developing the animated infographic components used throughout the video series.

Approach
Developed visual concepts through mood boards, storyboards, and character development before designing and animating infographic sequences. These animations were integrated with faculty interviews and b roll footage to help illustrate complex policy research in a clear and engaging way.

Impact
The animated graphics helped translate complex research topics into accessible visual narratives, supporting the institute’s ability to communicate its work to broader audiences.

Title Card Exploration

Each of the five explainer videos starts out with a question. It was important to find a treatment that would work with all videos and anchor the theme and approach.

Final IPR Explainer Videos

IPR Digital Ads

To advertise IPR, we leveraged the videos created to make digital ads for paid advertising. The question and magnifying glass was a unifying theme throughout these videos so we used that concept for these ads. The copy and sparing image use was intentional to keep the viewer engaged and encourage clicking to find out more.
